James Toback
- James Toback is a highly successful and respected Screenwriter and Director. He has Directed nine films including Love & Money (1982) and the highly popular The Pick-up Artist (1987) which starred Downey Jr.
Toback was born on November 23 1944 in New York City. He graduated from Harvard in 1966. He later taught creative writing and launched his career as a credible Writer-Director with movie Fingers (1978) a gritty urban movie highly influenced by Martin Scorsese.
